2021 Quilceda Creek Cabernet Sauvignon
100 Point!
"The 2021 'Columbia Valley' mainly comes from the Champoux Vineyard (90%) with the remainder coming from the Mach One Vineyard. A range of Cabernet Sauvignon clones are blended into this wine that spent 20 months in all new French oak before bottling. The aromatics really pop here with violets alongside potpourri and Turkish coffee, sandalwood, allspice dusted dates and shades of black licorice. The palate is generous, weightless and very generous as this is a total show stopper. Concentrated blue and black fruits with walnut, with creme de violette all brilliantly combine with the elegant mid-palate mouthfeel. Finishing extremely long, this is nothing short of perfection in a bottle. I don't say this lightly but this is arguably the finest 'Columbia Valley' Cabernet Sauvignon that I have ever tasted. Give this three hours or more in the decanter if enjoying now. Drink 2024-2044."100 Point!

Dark to the rim of the glass, the 2021 Cabernet has an intoxicating perfume of ripe plum and black cherry, graham cracker, crème brûlée, and cassis. The creamy texture is flawless with tannin and acid in perfect harmony. What the 2021 vintage lacked in yield, it utterly compensated for in quality. Intriguingly saturated color. The wine immediately opens with an explosive nose of ever-so-slightly dried herbs and flowers, marionberry crisp, caramel, white pepper, and a sensory note pulled from deep within my memory bank of machine oil on a turning lathe. On the palate, there are delightful notes of blackberries, raspberries, creamy vanilla custard, dark chocolate, and a lifting saline component. Concentrated, integrated, fresh and rich. The wine closes with a persistence of brawny power.Tasting Notes

2021 Stag's Leap Artemis Cabernet Sauvignon
The 2021 growing season will be remembered for being the second consecutive year of very dry conditions during winter and spring and for challenging weather during bloom and heat, cold, wind, and rain during flowering. This resulted in a reduction in yield and more variability on the clusters themselves. We had classic Napa Valley weather during the heart of the growing season with moderate temperatures and cool sea breezes in the afternoon and evening all summer. Early September saw a mini heat wave that pushed ripeness along, then a return to beautiful weather for the remainder of harvest. Berries were a little smaller than usual with loose clusters. Overall, this may be the best vintage for quality I've seen yet!

2021 Fortunate Son " The Dreamer" Cabernet Sauvignon
Vintage Notes
There was no 2020 vintage due to the apocalyptic fires and so the 2021 has been a long time coming. An extremely small crop, dryness and zero heat spikes combined with super small, concentrated berries and a super long ripening season resulted in the vintage being hailed as one of the TRULY great ones.
This wine is dark and brooding, a wine of elegance, fine and structured tannins, and basically the wine-equivalent of a Wagner piece on a stormy night after unexpectedly making an enormous sum of money.Vintage Notes

2022 Willamette Valley Pinot Noir Dijon Clone
Pie cherry and granola aromas are flanked by traces of talc and nutmeg notes. The medium-bodied wine has a fleshy mouthfeel, with just enough acidity and velvety tannins. Raspberry and tart cranberry flavors rule the palate. The tiny bit of oak-driven vanilla is quite pleasant.Pie cherry and granola aromas are flanked by traces of talc and nutmeg notes.
